What is Jump Rope Club?

The Jump Rope club is a club that promotes physical fitness through jump rope.  Members will learn skills in the single rope and double dutch areas of the sport.  This club is led by members of the YMCA Super Skippers group.  It is open to grades 2nd through 5th.

Students are required to wear sneakers and to bring a water bottle to the club. If a student isn't in sneakers, they will not be able to jump rope. Instead, they can cheer for the students that are jumping and/or assist the club leader(s).

When does the club meet?

We meet after school on the second Tuesday of each month from 3:45pm-4:45pm, starting September 9, 2025.  Students will meet in the Media Center after dismissal and then go outside as a group to jump.  Weather may be a permitting factor.

How do I sign my child(ren) up?

There is room in this club for 25 students, grades 2nd to 5th.
