Welcome to Penguin Passport, a fun and interactive way for our school families to share their adventures!
Using our magical Penguin Passport, our students will be transformed into penguins. We will be mapping our adventures—like collecting stamps in a passport—to see where our little penguins are exploring during track outs! ! Let's look at how it works!

Submit your trip details and photos using our Google Form. We can’t wait to see where your Penguin Passport takes you! -
Print your own penguin masks! We recommend printing them on thicker paper and/or glueing the mask to something sturdy like cardboard. You can attach strings to the masks or you can attach to a popsicle stick. We have included both a template that can be printed in color and an outline version if you would like to color your own penguin!

The best part of the trip, besides seeing family and friends, was the FOOD! They ate the BEST tacos, enchiladas, Mexican sweet breads and paletas (ice cream). Which was a nice change from their normal diet of fish!

Pin #32 (World Map): Andorra - An LPES penguin family traveled to Spain and Andorra during the last track out. They explored museums in Spain including the Barcelona F.C. and Banksy exhibits. While there, they learned all about the different holiday traditions, but the most entertaining was spotting the "El Caganer" decorations all over the city. In Andorra, the penguins were happy skiing and even got to try dog-sledding!

Heart (All Maps): Laurel Park Elementary School - Talk about seeing some penguins in their natural habitat! They were spotted in the snow, sledding, at their favorite spot - LPES!

To get to Machu Picchu, she had to fly first to Lima, Peru, then to Cusco, Peru which is 11,000 feet above sea level! Next, she took a train to Aguas Calientes which is close to Machu Picchu, and then a bus that climbed up a mountain to get to Machu Picchu! Machu Picchu was home to an ancient Incan civilization, where they spent time learning about science and religion! Our penguin teacher got to walk through the ruins of the city! It is one of the 7 wonders of the world and it was beautiful!!

They went on a lobster tour (caught the lobster in the photo!), hiked amazing trails and played in the very cold water (which is really just normal water for a penguin).

Part of the festivities included a boat tour of Mondsee, which translates to "The Moon Lake." This town was a filming location for the movie The Sound of Music.
