Does your child express his or her imagination through dance, playing music or writing poetry? Does your child enjoy creating through painting, drawing or taking photos? Then you should learn more about Reflections!

What is Reflections?

It is an annual extracurricular art competition sponsored by PTA councils across the county. Students create art work around a theme and submit a piece (or pieces) within their school at the end of October for judging. All entries will be recognized in a ceremony in November. To participate:

  • Register through the National PTA here.

  • Create an original work of art around the theme "I Belong!" Your creation can be any form that you wish: dance, film, literature, music composition, photography, or visual arts.

  • Make sure your artwork follows the general guidelines for submission, like file type, length of video, etc. Check out the guidelines for each art form here.

  • Any student with a 504/IEP will automatically be submitted to the state level via the Accessible Arts Division.
